The Mother Teresa Order of Nuns runs this annual program, in which the school receives turkeys, and our team steps in to pack and deliver them to families in need in Chester. It's all about spreading love and kindness and ensuring everyone enjoys a warm meal this holiday season.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication. Let's make this Thanksgiving a memorable one for our community!

Caritas Construction has been recognized for the second year in a row as a finalist for the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Best Places to Work. This year’s list includes 84 companies from across the region, ranked by employee feedback.
Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across five categories according to the number of Greater Philadelphia employees. The ranking found companies in the region whose employees rate them as the highest on such values as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings, and other amenities and management practices. The survey measures each company’s culture and considers compensation, benefits, and trust in senior leadership.

Cathy Fox, a woman of determination, has carved a unique path in her professional life. Born in Garden City, PA, she moved to Springfield, PA at the age of 3— to this day, she still calls Springfield her home.
Cathy’s early years were shaped by her mother’s diligent work as a bookkeeper in her father’s auto mechanic store. Inspired by this familial connection to numbers and financial records, Cathy pursued Accounting and Secretary Courses at Springfield High School. Little did she know that these foundational skills would propel her into a fulfilling career….

Caritas Construction held their First Annual Kentucky Derby Party! This past Saturday, May 5th, the Vesper Boat Club was abuzz with the spirit of the races, fabulous hats, and the clinking of mint julep glasses. 🍹🐎💨
The hats were big, the bets were bold, and the horses were just a screen away!
Guests cheered, gasped, and celebrated every photo finish like they were trackside at Churchill Downs and the Vesper Boat Club was the perfect backdrop for Derby Day shenanigans, with the river providing a serene contrast to all the lively festivities.

Variety, The Children’s Charity’s First of (20) Cabin’s Completed

Caritas is thrilled to announce that the first (of twenty) cabins for Variety, the Children's Charity in Worcester, PA is officially open! Each of these cabins will be a haven where children facing physical, mental, or socioeconomic challenges can escape, explore, and simply be kids!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Allan Myers Inc., all the tools and supplies needed for this project have been generously donated.
Operation Christmas Child

This past week, the Caritas Construction and Rendell Associates Team had the incredible opportunity to volunteer for Operation Christmas Child!
Operation Christmas Child is an amazing organization that spreads holiday cheer to children all around the world who are less fortunate. Through this initiative, we packed over 350 boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and other essentials to bring joy and hope to these children during the holiday season.

They spent the day packing and distributing essential supplies to be donated to families in need. Dare Business Network Raises Money for Reed’s Farm, a Non-Profit Organization tackling food insecurity in New Jersey

The Dare Business Network's fundraising event held last Friday at Stephen Cookie's in Margate, NJ, was an incredible success! Thanks to the generosity of our amazing fellow Business Network members, VISSI Architecture + Design, Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, and Dare Commercial Services, LLC, we were able to raise over $1,600 for Reed's Farm. Reed's Farm is a non-profit organization tackling food insecurity, soil regeneration, and community inclusiveness in Atlantic County, NJ. 🌾🍅🥕
It's truly humbling to see the power of coming together for a common cause. This support will enable Reed's Farm to continue its incredible work, ensuring that no one in our community has to go to bed hungry. Moreover, they focus on regenerating our environment and promoting inclusiveness through sustainable farming practices. 🌱🌍

Caritas Gives Back to Missionaries of Charity. Saint Teresa of Calcutta’s Order of Nuns.

130 families in Chester, PA will have Thanksgiving turkey this year thanks to the Missionaries of Charity in Saint Mother Teresa's Order of Nuns. This week, our team partnered with the students of the Holy Family School to gather and deliver food for the sisters. We would like to thank everyone involved and hope that no matter how you spend your holiday this year, it's a great one.
As we spend this week reflecting on everything we are thankful for, Caritas Construction would like to take the time to thank our clients, partners, and most importantly, our team for the hard work, day in and day out to serve our clients and make Caritas Construction what it is today.
Caritas Gives Back to the Salvation Army.

This week our team spent three days away from work to paint several spaces at the Chester Salvation Army Social Services Center. This included several hallways, a cafeteria, and the center's day room where guests gather to watch tv, grab refreshments, or get away from the cold or heat. Thank you to Sherwin-Williams who donated the paint and to both the Caritas and Rendell Associates teams who took the time to help improve this impactful space.
